Baby Back Ribs (new method)

_images/baby-back-ribs.png

These pork baby back ribs are tender, and the meat falls right off the bone. Generally, people think of baby back ribs as a meal they would only order at a restaurant, but they are so easy to make at home. This recipe could not be more simple.

  • Prep Time: 15 mins

  • Cook Time: 2 hrs 30 mins - 3 hrs 30 mins

  • Additional Time: 8 hrs

  • Total Time: 10 hrs 45 mins

  • Servings: 4

Ingredients (4 servings)

  • 2 pounds pork baby back ribs

  • aluminum foil

  • cooking spray

  • 1 (18 ounce) bottle barbecue sauce

Directions

  1. Cut ribs into 4 equal portions.

  2. Tear off 4 pieces of aluminum foil big enough to enclose each portion of ribs. Grease each piece of foil with cooking spray.

  3. Brush ribs liberally with barbecue sauce; place each portion of ribs on a piece of foil. Wrap tightly and refrigerate for 8 hours to overnight or just cooked them right away (it worked the 1st time I tried this recipe).

  4. Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).

  5. Bake ribs wrapped tightly in foil in the preheated oven for 2½ - 3½ hours. Check for fall off the bone doneness after 2½ hours.

  6. Remove ribs from foil, broil in oven or finish on BBQ with more sauce, if desired.
